The Center for Health Research (CHR), Kaiser Permanente Northwest, is a
professionally independent, non-profit research institute whose mission is to
improve health and health care and to inform health policy. Its work brings
together scientists and expert support staff from many diverse fields whose
research addresses a broad range of important scientific issues. These
activities have resulted in fruitful collaborations with a variety of
internationally recognized scientific institutions.
The CHR Coordinating Center (CCRIS) comprises an accomplished team of
researchers, technical managers, and project administrators, as well as
state-of-the-art IT and security resources. We coordinate studies at the local,
national, and international levels and have an excellent track record for
carrying out complex multi-center (epidemiologic and clinical trial) protocols,
from design through dissemination of results.
The CCRIS team strives to provide flexible products and services tailored to
best fit the needs and scope of a given protocol. We have substantial
experience in developing creative scientific and technical solutions for a
collaborative, efficient research environment. We are committed to providing
outstanding support for the design, development, implementation, analysis, and
publication of high-quality research protocols consistent with the CHR mission.
