Prostate Cancer Study

Kaiser Permanente’s Portland-based Center for Health Research ( CHR) has opened a research study for men with prostate cancer with a rising PSA. The study will assess how well the study drug works in possibly delaying the spread of cancer to your bones.

The Center for Health Research is seeking Kaiser Permanente members who

  • have prostate cancer
  • are being treated with hormone therapy or have undergone a bilateral orchiectomy ( removal of testicles)
  • have a rising PSA ( prostate specific antigen)

Those interested should call Mary Wellwood in Oncology Research at 503-249-3316.
