Mission:
To transform the
Center for Health Research (CHR) and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan
of the Northwest (KPNW) into an integrated and successful working partnership that builds upon the historical strengths of each and their previous relationships in order to transform health care and health care systems. To accomplish health care improvements expediently and based on scientific evidence. For this stable partnership to result in improved financial stability for all partners, increased quality of health care, and improved health status for KPNW members and the community.
We envision that research
can be translated into practice faster and that the selection of research questions will be improved by partnering with Northwest Permanente (NWP), Permanente Dental Associates (PDA), and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KPHP) operations in developing and evaluating new models of care to meet the needs of sick and vulnerable members.
