Sponsorship
In general,
proposals submitted through the Center for Health Research (CHR) require
sponsorship by a member of the CHR Investigator staff. Northwest
Permanente (NWP), Permanente Dental Associates (PDA) or KPNW employees with a research
track record may be exceptions to this. Your sponsor will play a crucial
role both in providing technical and scientific expertise in developing
your proposal and in presenting it for internal reviews and approvals,
including institutional review board (IRB) review and approval for
research subjects' protection. Sponsors can be identified through
contacting CHR's
Research Response Team,
who will work to find an appropriate volunteer from the Science Programs or Research-Healthcare Integration Departments.
