The Center for Health Research brings together scientists from a wide variety of fields to study health and medical care issues in a wide range of
Research Areas. CHR's investigators are experts in their fields of study, and CHR's clinical investigators help bridge research and clinical experience.
CHR puts a high value on collaboration—on the ability and desire of researchers to work closely with experts in other fields to design and carry out their projects. Most CHR researchers hold academic appointments and teach in local universities. They also collaborate extensively with faculty and researchers from various universities and other research organizations throughout the nation.
