Quithelper is a stop-smoking program just for young adults.
It provides brief telephone counseling with a professional quit coach and a website to help make quitting easier.
This program is available for a limited time as part of a research study, funded by the National Institutes of Health and conducted by Kaiser Permanente’s Center for Health Research.
The Quithelper study is now closed to new participants.
Kaiser Permanente members can still call the Health Education Services department and talk with a health consultant about receiving help to quit smoking. You can reach Health Education Services at (503) 286-6816 or toll free at 1 (866) 301-3866. All smokers can call the Oregon Quitline at 1-800-784-8669 for free support.
If you questions or other needs, please call Kathy Easter, the Quithelper Project Manager, for assistance (503-335-6690).
