We’re here to make lives better by advancing knowledge to improve health. We are the Center for Health Research
One of the best kept secrets about Kaiser Permanente Georgia is the Center for Health Research (CHR). Formerly known as the Research Department, CHR researchers seek ways to help people lose weight and keep it off, quit smoking, and prevent or manage diabetes, asthma and other chronic diseases.
CHR scientists based at Piedmont Center collaborate with the CDC, the FDA and top researchers at Emory University and around the country. They study the links between lifestyle and wellness and compare different treatments to find the safest, most effective ones. CHR research is patient-centered and practice-based and is an integral part of Kaiser Permanente’s health plan
