Patterns of Utilization of Ambulatory Care in Oregon: Comparison of Insured and Uninsured Populations

Rachel Gold, Principal Investigator
Evelyn P. Whitlock, Co-Investigator

Using existing health records data from the Oregon Community Health Information (OCHIN) clinic populations, this study conducts a descriptive analysis of utilization patterns and related disparities in the OCHIN population. It also describes the most common procedures and diagnoses among adults and children, and patterns of prenatal and well-child care in the entire OCHIN population, within socio-demographic subgroups, and use patterns by insurance status.
