TCHR’s most recent addition. Joined TCHR in 2006 to continue the 10-year agenda of innovative public domain research in Kaiser Permanente’s Georgia (KPG) region.
In Atlanta, Georgia. The fastest growing metropolitan area in America. Vibrant and diverse, with the 5th largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in the nation and more than 30 institutions of higher education.
Part of Kaiser Permanente Georgia. A connection that gives our researchers unparalleled data sources in a full-service health system that cares for all ages and walks of life.
A full spectrum of health care innovation. Multi-disciplinary patient-centered, population, and practice-based research. Affiliations and collaborative partnerships, ranging from academic medical centers, other large medical plans, to community clinics.

Diverse demographics enhance TCHR research capabilities. Birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and a city population that is 55% African-American.
Research focus. Especially attuned to the health issues of the local population. Research includes health services and chronic disease prevention and epidemiology and clinical trials of vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
